My wife had a sewing machine (out of order). It requires a service. The service might cost her wonder if it is worthy. She started to find old machines in craigslist. Finally, she found an idea one that she liked most. It was affordable. She set up an appointment and was eager to see the product. The owner shown it worked without sewing actually. She closed the deal with her expertise and the owner gave her another identical sewing machine just for the spare parts and some accessories. It is very hard to find an old model sewing machine parts in the market.
At that night, she was excited to explore the machine till 4 am. She waked me up and told me the machine could not be sewed. There were some parts missing. She started to complain herself too easy trust people too make a wrong decision. She signed she should have brought another machine from another owner. She started to build negative spirit in her mind and blamed herself. I told her to stop building the negative thought by complaining of losing money and bought junk back home. I told her be thankful, be worry free, be happy what you had experienced. I massaged her back, just she felt sleep right away. I then could not sleep.
Next day, She opened the bag along with the machines, found more parts inside. I also helped her to assemble the parts. Later, she played it, read menu, tested to sew clothes. Later, she told me the machine could be sewed with basic functions as she has tried. She finally felt relieved without calling/texting the owner for help.
Inspiration
Our mind is easily get hurt, build negative spirit, think negative when it is new to us. Besides, people like to listen to other people about their bad experience, see learning from their mistake. The result from my wife’s experience was much different. One day thought malfunction completely, building negative spirit, started worrying. Another day was trying and thought in opposite.
One of the motto of Harvard university is that your mind is healthy at first, then your body is healthy. When dealing with our health, I believe we should have healthy mind, positive attitudes, humble, be obedience, respectful, happy, then your body will be healthy. Your mind actually affect your body functioning. Those negative thoughts might actually affect your body out of balance, poor of food choice and finally lead to diseases. Wish you consider seriously.
